Had a lot of fun playing SWTOR but, I haven’t felt the desire to play since I got back from vacation last month. I’m spending most of my time in Tribes Ascend right now, and I just am not playing anything else. My highest level SWTOR character was a 48 Trooper, and if not for Tribes I’d push him to 50 and THEN stop, but I just don’t have the desire to put the week or two worth of ‘work’ into it to reach the level cap. Also, when I ended my subscription I somehow have 40 days of play time left on my subscription. If the subscription was monthly how the hell did I end up with 40 days left? It is a mystery.
I have so many good games right now on my PC that I can play ‘for free’ that I think I’ll try to avoid the subscription plan games for a bit. I’m really surprised by how much I missed FPS games. I thought I’d out grown the genre (it really is a young mans game) but I can still be competitive in most matches and I think I’ll scratch that itch for awhile.
I’m still planning on avoiding Diablo III if I can, but I may pick up Guild Wars 2 when it comes out. I have friends that are interested in ‘The Secret World’ so I may end up back in a subscription game but for now I’m subscription free.
I’m really excited about Diablo III… I got the premium package for TA but I haven’t played it that much… I suck at twitchy games lol
Ready for Diablo III as well, still dabbling with the WoW auction house too.
+Jim: Well you can drop WoW and dabble in the D3 auction house! :p
+Josh:I started out on FPS games and the original Tribes was probably my favorite game, period. If you got the premium package you have a booster going and you’ll probably want to play as much as you can before that runs out. You’re basically getting triple XP till it runs out.
