If the recent Russian meteorite has sparked your interest in the search for Near Earth Objects and Asteroids watch this video. Looking for these things sounds like a good use of money to me. Seems there are a lot of the buggers out there.

Just seems like a bad idea, but bad decisions make for interesting living:
Don’t do it! You’ve been warned.
1st) Damn, but there are a lot of dash-cams in Russia.
2nd) Damn, but those Russian drivers aren’t phased by much. Pretty sure you would have gotten a lot more bleep-able language from American dash-cams.
3rd) I want a dash-cam now.
4th) That sonic boom is no joke.
5th) I know a lot of people were hurt by broken glass (see #4). I hope the injuries weren’t too bad.
6th) Really, I want some decent video recording device now.
7th) Maybe we should put some more money into looking out for the larger objects that could really mess things up.
I don’t keep up with recruiting or ‘Signing Day’ but I think the statement below MUST have an effect.
Today’s recruits were in the 5th grade the last time the SEC didn’t win a National Championship
Just something to think about.
PS: And that’s all I have to say about ‘Signing Day’.
I haven’t synced my iPhone 4s in quite a while so I decided to do it on Monday, (1/21/2013). iTunes needed to be updated, so I let that run first, and once it was finished, I started the sync. I was watching an online video when the sync started so I was a bit distracted, but still, I knew the sync went WAY to quickly. So I decided to do it again, and again the sync finished very quickly. When I tried to navigate around the iTunes app, I had a hard time, because they’ve changed things up quite a bit. In the end, I managed to get to the computer’s apps, and lo-and-behold 93 apps needed to be updated. Which meant they WEREN’T syncing with my phone like it used to. After 20 frustrating minutes I finally figured out how to make it work.
Navigate to Devices, choose your phone, then ‘Transfer Purchases’ or hit ‘control-s’ to bring back the side bar that iTunes USED to have choose your phone and right click to get to the ‘Transfer Purchases’ selection. That makes the updated apps from your phone transfer to your computer. That is it MAY work if iTunes decides your phone is actually connected. For some reason my iTunes keeps disconnecting the phone so it doesn’t show up in my device list. I got around it by unplugging the phone from the computer and re-connecting it. I have NO idea why iTunes keeps doing this. I haven’t figured that problem out yet. If you do let me know.
Phone: iPhone 4s with iOS 6.0.1
iTunes: 11.0.1.12
In ten days the Berial.com URL will be sold at auction. They currently want 1800$ for it. I find this laughable, but who knows, maybe they WILL sell it. I hope they find a buyer, and that buyer wants to buy me out for the same price!
If that buyer isn’t found I wonder what will happen to Berial.com? Guess I’ll just have to wait 10 days to find out.
In the mean time I went ahead and re-upped Berial.org, net and info for two more years. I will probably need to find a new purpose for the website. Something that I will enjoy a bit more. It is a bit frustrating that NO BODY ever reads what I say. I can get ignored for free why should I pay a fee to be ignored!
PS: I still have no idea why ANYONE would expect to get $10 much less $1800 for Berial.anything.
EDIT: HA! Jokes on me, they extended the auction till April 24th!
